When two Latino political rising stars have breakfast together it's no big surprise, unless one of them is a Democrat and the other one is a Republican.
That was the case Monday morning, when state Rep. Joaquin Castro, D-San Antonio, and former Texas Racing Commission Chairman (and current Rick Perry confidante) Rolando Pablos met up at the downtown institution Mi Tierra. Given that Castro is currently battling Austin Congressman Lloyd Doggett for the Democratic nomination in the newly created U.S. District 35, and the fact that Doggett has been on a one-man national media crusade to destroy the nascent presidential campaign of Pablos' man Perry, you could have probably sold tickets for fly-on-the-wall privileges near the Castro-Pablos table.
So what did they talk about?
