On a recent visit to NYC, I had the opportunity to revisit High Line Park in the heart of the city's lower west side. The reason for this, my third visit, was to walk the recently opened final stretch of the six-year redevelopment. High Line is now essentially complete. The daily life of the park is squarely in the hands of the vibrant Friends of the High Line, a nonprofit organization launched to develop and maintain the park, along with the City of New York.
